The service we offer

Once we have received full information, understand what your priorities are, and have a clear understanding of the aspects you would like help with, we can provide a fee estimate based on our hourly rates displayed.

We will also advise you, depending on your case type whether you may have other funding options available, such as cover under an insurance policy. We would consider this at the time of your initial consultation and dependant on subsequent information supplied we would advise what cost implications there may thereafter be.

We would then give you in writing what you may be able to expect from us and within what time frames we may be able to achieve those requirements.

We may offer fixed fees in certain cases but in general terms work will be costed on a time basis and you will be given an estimate at the outset of any retainer. If the hourly rate is different to those listed for any reason you will be advised at the outset. If you are in any way uncertain in relation to fees, the retainer or any other element of the case please contact the Fee earner dealing with your matter or our practice manager by email or telephone details of which can be found on our website.

Whilst this will be a difficult time, as any legal matters generally involve an element of stress, the firm will seek to make your case run as smoothly as possible.

Experience shows that it is important that clients understand from the outset that the legal process can be expensive, and we estimate as best we can the likely cost of the case to conclusion.  Remember that factors such as whether the case succeeds, whether you brought or defended a case and many other factors may combine to shorten/lengthen cases and consequently reduce or increase costs.  The fees of the solicitor with conduct of your case will vary but generally they will be at A grade fee earner.
